Cops, I bought an old radar detector, will this still work or is it obsolete, it has K band, Laser?
Q: I bought the Escort 7500 is like 10 years but in the opinion, it still seems to be being that I am under the assumption of police radar technology has not changed much since then.

K - Band is still widely used, not as much as KA or LIDAR.
Understand, radar detectors are only good if the police officer traffic unit has open stable - or just hit someone in front of you.
Do radar/laser detectors pick up every time you're coming up on a cop or only if they are trying to clock?
